The municipality’s orography and its beaches.
Muros de Nalón is a tranquil and welcoming community, with convenient access to the Cantabrian motorway, providing excellent mobility throughout the Principality of Asturias.

Small and with a lot of substance. That is Muros de Nalón. It lives looking out to sea and there are many unexpectedly beautiful views from its coastal path, from its chapel of the Holy Spirit or from the lighthouse of San Esteban. It also overlooks the river Nalón, especially bearing in mind that one of its main towns, San Esteban, was born and grew up on one of the banks of this historic river, which produces so many good elvers when it becomes an estuary. San Esteban has an aspect between fluvial, industrial and indiano that gives it a unique air, not only in Asturias: its cranes, which recall the past of loading and unloading coal, its promenade, its noble buildings, its staggered layout… everything in San Esteban invites magic and relaxation. Muros, the capital of the municipality, also a place for summer holidays and relaxation, completes the binomial.

Not forgetting that the well-known Aguilar Beach has one of the best ‘baths’ in Asturias, as well as the salt water pools of San Esteban, unique of its kind in the region…
